Night five of Benefit Week Benefitting Christian Kidd of The Hates

The Hates are one of Houston's most pioneering bands. Getting their start in 1978, the band would change their name to The Hates in 1979, and set the stage for the punk movement of the late seventies and early eighties. To date, The Hates have never slowed down and remain Houston's longest running unsigned punk band. Christian Kidd, the band's founder and lead singer is a large part of why Houston has any kind of live music scene today. he was recently diagnosed with throat Cancer, and all of the proceeds go to benefit him and his family in this dire time in their lives.
